Most of you surely still remember Yamyam Gucong. He is the former Pinoy Big Brother and the one who hailed as the big winner.
We loved Yamyam because of his pure kindness and being jolly. His fans and viewers of PBB noticed him when he makes friends with his fellow housemate, Fumiya Sankai.
Fumiya is a pure Japanese with the heart of a Filipino. During their stay in the PBB house, they made a strong bond. They also called themselves Spiritual Brothers.
The viewers were entertained with them because Yamyam doesn’t know how to speak English or Japanese while Fumiya doesn’t know how to talk in straight Filipino.
So when they talk with each other, they just laugh with their conversation that’s why their fans loved them both.
But if you are wondering how Yamyam handled his grand prize, you will be surely proud of him.
It is known to many that Yamyam came from a poor family. He even didn’t have the chance to finish his studies. So Yamyam did everything to win the grand prize.
After winning the house and lot and cash prize, he did not let this pass in just a blink of an eye. Instead, he invested it in small business for his family.
While many feel the pressure of being the family’s sole breadwinner, Yamyam has a different view.
Kasi kusa ko talaga itong ginagawa kasi ganito ko sila kamahal. Atsaka ayokong makita sila nang gaya ng dati na mahihirapan o makita ko silang umiiyak dahil sa gutom.
Yamyam has his own Bakeshop in his hometown in Bohol. He named it Yamito’s Bakeshop and they are successful in their province.
He also has his own car now. After his PBB, Yamyam was blessed enough to be offered some stints in some of ABS-CBN shows.
Truly, Yamyam is now getting his success!
